HOW TO USE SCENTED CRYSTALS

Simmering Granules, also referred to as Scented Sizzlers or Shimmer Crystals, offer a delightful alternative to traditional oils and wax for infusing your living space with captivating fragrances. These tiny powerhouses of aroma are a natural salt-based product, carefully imbued with color and scent, designed specifically for use in oil or wax burners.

Scented Sizzlers are not only convenient but also safe, clean, and incredibly easy to use.

 Simmering granules are essentially salt crystals enriched with both color and fragrance. They function akin to fragrance oils but without the risk of messy spills and burns. Granted, if you accidentally tip over your burner, they may scatter, but they won't leave indelible marks on your furnishings or carpets. In fact, you can easily sweep or vacuum them up because they don't reach scorching temperatures like oils or wax. This unique quality can even infuse your vacuum cleaner or waste bin with a pleasant inner scent.

So, whether you seek an effortless means to envelop your home in alluring scents or need to banish unpleasant odors, these crystalline granules are your go-to solution.

 Utilizing simmering granules is a breeze. Just sprinkle a few teaspoons into your burner, place a tea light underneath, and let the magic unfold. As the granules gently heat up, they release a delightful aroma that lingers in your room for hours. The fragrance gracefully evaporates into the air, leaving behind only the salt residue. Over time, you may observe the colored granules fading, signaling the need for a refill.

Scented sizzlers can be used multiple times, and when the scent diminishes, it's time to replenish your burner.

You have control over the intensity of the fragrance – simply adjust the quantity of simmering granules in your burner to achieve your desired scent strength.

Use half a 50g pot or the whole tub. The choice is yours! 

1. Pour the desired amount into your burner well; unlike wax melts, they won't overflow. We typically recommend 1-2 teaspoons to extend your supply's longevity.
2. Light the tea light and allow a few moments for the burner to heat up; you'll soon notice the room filling with your chosen scent.
3. After several uses, the granules' color will fade, and the scent will become faint. Dispose of the used granules and add a fresh scoop to restart the process.
4. NOTE: Sizzlers do not melt and will remain in crystal form through-out usage.

 Wax melts are pieces of scented wax, often creatively crafted in various shapes, colors, and sizes. When these wax pieces are gently heated in the top of an oil burner, they release a delightful aroma into the room. Unlike traditional candles, wax melts do not have a wick for direct ignition. Depending on their form, they might be referred to as wax tarts or cubes. In our collection, you'll discover wax melts designed as charming little green hearts.

Our wax melts are expertly crafted from a soy wax blend infused with rich fragrances, ensuring a long-lasting and captivating scent experience. They are not only popular but also easy to use and budget-friendly, making them a fantastic choice for adding fragrance to your home.

 To enjoy the enchanting scents of wax melts, you'll need an oil burner. Here's how to use them:

1. Place a couple of wax melts into the top reservoir of your oil burner, adjusting the quantity to achieve your desired fragrance strength.
2. If you're using an electric burner, follow the manufacturer's instructions to activate it. For a tea light oil burner, insert a tea light into the recess at the bottom of the burner and light it. The heat from the flame below will gently melt the wax, releasing the delightful scent into your space.
3. When you wish to cease the fragrance release, either blow out the tea light or switch off your electric burner.

The duration of wax melts varies depending on the size and number of melts used & the burner type you use. Our 50g melts can provide up to 100 hours of fragrant bliss. Where as our 25g snap bars will provide upto 50 hours

 The scent throw can vary based on the type of burner used. A candle-aided burner and an electric burner have distinct characteristics in terms of scent release:

1. Candle-Aided Burner: When using a candle-powered burner, higher temperatures are typically generated, resulting in a potent and immediate scent throw. However, this strong scent is often shorter-lived as the wax melts quickly. While the fragrance is intense, it may not last as long.
2. Electric Burner: Electric burners generally provide lower and more consistent heat. This results in a longer-lasting scent throw, albeit with a more subtle and gradual release of fragrance. The scent may be milder but extends over a more extended period.

Ultimately, the choice between a candle-aided burner and an electric burner depends on your preference for either a strong but shorter burst of fragrance or a more subtle, enduring scent.

Always adhere to the safety guidelines of your oil burner, as some may recommend not exceeding a certain duration of continuous use.

Similar to many fragranced products, if left unused for an extended period, wax melts may lose their scent and effectiveness. For the best scent experience, we recommend using our wax melts within 12 months of purchase. When storing them for an extended period, keep them in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight or fluorescent light to prevent any adverse effects of light or temperature on the wax. 

After multiple uses, you'll notice that your wax melts gradually lose their fragrance and need replacement. Before introducing new melts or changing fragrances, it's essential to remove the old wax from your oil burner. 

Here's how:

1. Wait until both the wax and oil burner have completely cooled.
2. Pop out the cooled wax disk from the reservoir and dispose of it.
3. For any stubborn remnants of old wax melts, gently use a spoon to scoop them out.
4. Clean the oil burner, removing any remaining wax residue with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge.
5. Allow your oil burner to dry thoroughly before adding new wax melts to the top reservoir, allowing you to continue enjoying your favorite scents.

 We prefer using wax melt liners because they simplify the process of replacing wax, you may use a cotton ball to soak up the left over wax and dispose of appropriately.
